From M6 Junction 43, follow A69 to Brampton then follow the tourist board signs for Lanercost, Banks, and Birdoswald Roman Fort. From Lanercost carry on to Banks. Follow the gravel track (on the right of the village green before you get to the telephone box). South View Cottage is approx. 100 yards along track on the right. |
